How Can We Help You?

Most companies just want to tell you that answer, but for us it's a question. Lets start with informing you of the possibilities that exist in todays lighting world. When permanent lights came into the scene many years ago, several companies embarked into a light technology race. Permanent lights are LED light diodes with a processing chip. Different companies have different quality chips capable of doing different things. Some of the main differences are lumens, color options, and capabilities. For example, one of options with the permanent lights we use is they have a sound sensor that can hear music and make the lights flash to the beat of the music.

As new technology using chips in LED lights have progressed, some companies are bridging a gap between traditional lighting and permanent lighting. For example, take traditional "edison" bistro lighting. This is still a beautiful lighting option for restaurants, bars, breweries, outdoor venues, and of course home patios and yards, But now there are other bistro lighting options available that incorporate the Permanent light technology of 18+ light color options in a single bistro light bulb.

What Service Does Elite Provide?

We provide a few different services in the outdoor lighting arena. We provide residential & commercial holiday lighting,  Permanent OMNI RGB lighting for homes and businesses, outdoor commercial year round lighting for businesses (such as bistro lighting, motion sensor) and outdoor residential year round lighting (bistro, flood light, uplight). We like to answer the question "what do you want to accomplish with your lighting?"

Holiday Lighting

We offer professional holiday lighting using C9 LED bulbs. These are custom cut and fit to your home. Our designer will work with you on a design. We figure out if you want lighting only along your gutter line, if you want to incorporate dormers, doghouses, hip roofs.  Do you want the lighting only in the front or on all sides of your home or business. This determines how many feet of light will be needed, and any special equipment that may need to be ordered or used. Once all the design options are figured (including colors) we decide on an install date. When the installers come out the lighting will be custom cut and installed on site. They will install and program a timer so the lights are set to come on when you want them. If a bulb goes out (it's rare but it does occasionally happen) we come and replace it. If there are timer issues we will come and fix them. After the holidays we take the lights down with a semi elaborate charting system that gets stored in your lighting container. This makes it easier for installing the lighting in subsequent years.

Permanent Lighting

If you've been outside after dark in the past 2 years you've probably seen a few houses with permanent lighting. This is definitely the current trend in outdoor lighting. There are many different companies and many different options and yes this can make things confusing. Even as outdoor lighting professionals we have traveled and attended a few different outdoor lighting company's trainings. At the first training when you hear of all the awesome things this lighting option can accomplish you're pretty amazed! But once we started doing more research, and started talking to dozens of other holiday lighting companies across the country we started to see who were some of the best companies in the arena. Govee is definitely the leader in DIY permanent lighting. This will be your lowest price option, as you will be doing the installation and training yourself. I think the installation may be harder than people imagine, as we get at least 2 calls a week from people asking us to install their Govee lights. We use OMNI RGB Lighting for our permanent lighting.  This lighting is installed in aluminum tracks under your roofing in the soffits. We DO NOT drill holes in your roof! The process is labor intensive but the final product is beautiful and fun! There are differences in every permanent light companies product. For example Govee lights are also spaced every 18.5", OMNI is spaced every 8" (which is the shorting spacing distance of any of the lighting options). This element alone produces two completely different lighting effects. The Govee will tend to produce a V shape light down your home, whereas the OMNI will provide complete light saturation if you have every light diode turned on. You can program the OMNI lights to provide you with several lighting options. For example, you can set your everyday/night lighting to any one of about 20 variations of white, from cool white to warm white to a beigeish white (it's lovely!) and have the lights set to just the peaks and corners of your home which makes a beautiful landscape down lighting, or simply have just 1 in 5 light diodes on. Then you can use one of the many preprogrammed lighting options to come on automatically for holidays like Christmas, Halloween or the 4th of July. Or you can program your own!  Seriously endless possibilities with these!

Commercial Lighting

The "WHY?" for commercial lighting can be varied. The main WHY is usually to bring in more business. But is that increased business a result of more foot traffic, or because of elevated ambiance during an outdoor dining experience? When it comes to lighting outdoor entertainment spaces there are a several factors to consider. Are there certain areas where you want  people to congregate, say near a stage for live music. Or maybe you want to create a variety of intimate spaces for cozy conversations in your outdoor dining section of your restaurant.  What's great is all the options that now exist in all of these outdoor lighting arenas. It really becomes a game of possibilities!

 

Residential Lighting

More homeowners are starting to awaken to the possibilities of turning a boring backyard into outdoor living spaces. And lighting plays a big role in designating different areas of your yard. Covered patios with edison lighting, outdoor kitchens with enough lighting to cook dinner outside in summer or fall. Family firepit gatherings, or even a patio designed for watching the games! My latest obsession is a beautiful flowing creek made solely from lights.
